Yearly the BHLL hosts the Choker Scramble.
The Choker Scramble is held in July and offers a fun way to meet other golfers from other leagues.
8am Shotgun Start
In a Choker Tournament there are 4 person teams. Three players playing a scramble and the fourth is the "Choker" playing their individual ball. The two scores are then added together for the total hole score. The designated "Choker" rotates each hole throughout the round.
Each year the event offers a different theme and benefits a non-profit organization.
2025 Choker Scramble theme will be "Mardi Gras", held on July 31st.
The Club Championship is at the end of the season and is flighted based on golf handicap. The 18 hole championship takes place over two weeks of play. The winners of each flight are determined by totaling gross and net scores for the two weeks of play.
All BHLL divisions are welcome to participate.
Signup is done through Golf Genius.
Additionally, the 9 Hole Divisions have a Championship for their members.
